The passing of Polixeni Papapetrou on 11 April 2018 was too early, and her loss is immense. She was an artist and photographer whose work has impacted the Australian scene in so many ways. When Alison Kubler and I interviewed Poli for https://ihaveonlygotfiveminutes.wordpress.com/?s=polixeni, she told us of her belief that, “art changes people and therefore the world that we live in. We can measure the soul of a society through its art”. While her illness was impacting her life even in 2013, she continued to make art.
