Just returned to my office is the maquette of my son Jasper made by sculptor Stephen Hart. Jasper was generously included in Stephen’s collection of friends, family and colleagues that become one large work titled “Fellow Humans: Stephen Hart”, shown at the Museum of Brisbane 18 October 2013 to 23 March 2014. It reminded me that Alison Kubler and I recorded an interview with Stephen for our mc/k art blog, link below. Stephen’s interests in the human condition and our physical realities, frailties and ability to transcend them are expressed beautifully here.
