I was intrigued to interview Clothilde Bullen for Art Collector (Issue 83, Jan-Mar 2018). She spent her early years in WA and is now curator of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Exhibitions and Collections at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney. She is working for change in this dynamic area, and told me, “Indigenous art is silo-ed from non-Indigenous art. Yet it’s all made of the here and now. We need to move away from the idea that it is separate and locked in a timeframe or particular point in history.” See full article.
