Gerwyn Davies as “Pineapple” (2016) was not actually in the Museum of Brisbane’s “Dress Code” exhibition, but is a good illustration of the way he uses his body to point up “culturally ostracised narratives”. Each of the artists in “Dress Code” explored the variable codes operative in what we wear, and how it identifies us.
